It was created in the 1920s for oyster farming and has since become a picturesque oasis nestled in the beautiful Moëze-Oléron Nature Reserve, surrounded by pine forests and sandy dunes. This place feels timeless and is blessed with 14 kilometers of pristine coastline, mudflats, and marshes, creating a paradise for countless birds that live and migrate here.
